Trouvaille ownership thus far gears would randomly change after initial ride got worse as bike broke in. Went to local bike shop bent derailuer bracket. He straightened it set up gderailuer and sent me on my way for$40. Front break has started a shake when applied. Hope I made right choice. Kent wants me to return bike rather than replace hanger.

Recently been checking out Walmart and youtube videos and came across the Mongoose Ardor ($348) and Kent Trouvaille ($398). Both have relatively similar specs (i.e single speed, threaded headset, etc) and have been deciding between them. I'm planning to upgrade these bikes in the long run and have been looking towards the Kent Trouvaille … Hello, I over the past two weeks I purchased two Kent Trouvaille Bikes from Walmart.com. The first bike had an issue. Both screws to hold the water bottle holder were stripped, they spun in the frame and could not be removed. It's a very nice bike and a great deal so I returned the bike and reordered the same model. The Kent only has one bottle cage mount. I had to buy an aftermarket mount and I shouldn't have too. Without a rear rack mount, the Kent can't double as a grocery getter or a bikepacking bike. The OZT does. As previously mentioned, the Trouvaille has the better drive train.
