SIM card said it was expired T-Mobile didn't care they activated the SIM card at no additional charge I paid $10 a month and I get roadside assistance from Allstate Insurance roadside through the sync up Drive. That's pretty damn hard to beat even includes a hotspot in the car. Set up and activation was simple.

I actually have a Google mini in my car which works perfectly since it can connect to the cars wifi. If you want the wifi part of it, you will need a data plan.
