For clearing land I use totem grid because it is fast and has a lot of tiles to clear and is only 1 chalice. Lots of folks use Secret:the healer instead. For merging life flowers I use open lands because it is all flowers to merge. I use the crescent because it has the most nests of the same dragons and I get the most merges from it.
