Jan 25, 2022 · It is now stuck at 7/5 o'clock. The slide sits about 1/8" from the back end of the frame, but racks ok and can be locked back with the release/catch. Also, can't get the slide off of the frame, now. Can't insert a mag, can't pull trigger fully. Oddly, if the lever in the 7 o'clock position and I pull the trigger, the lever rotates to 5 o'clock. (Don’t ask why I even started doing that, I don’t even know.) After inspecting the FCU, I realized that the rattling is coming from the take down lever “bar” which runs down the left side of the FCU. Push it flat down if you have to, per the Owner's Manual. Otherwise, the slide won't go past that point. The P365 is better than many of similar pocket sized pistols for general take down and reassembly. Lock the slide to the rear. Pull down the take down lever and hold it, while you bring the slide forward with your other hand. Try that. Hold the lever takedown forward and grab the slide from the rear, not the front.
